About Courtney
I bring more than 20 years of accounting and financial reporting experience directly to every client I work with.
Who is Your Elite Bookkeeper?
Meet Courtney
I’m Courtney Von Bargen, owner of Your Elite Bookkeeper, a licensed Florida CPA, and a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s in Accounting and an MBA. I bring more than 20 years of accounting and financial reporting experience to the businesses and organizations I work with.
Before starting Your Elite Bookkeeper, I spent much of my career in corporate accounting, including senior accounting roles with FOX Sports and Orlando Utilities Commission. That experience taught me to approach the numbers with a deeper level of review — working through disciplined month-end closes, reconciling and validating balance-sheet accounts, analyzing variances, strengthening accounting processes, and making sure financial reporting actually holds up.
Today, I bring those same standards to the businesses and organizations I serve. I review the full P&L and balance sheet, validate balances, look for inconsistencies, and ask questions when something doesn’t make sense. My goal is not simply to keep the books current, but to make sure the financial information behind the business is accurate, organized, and useful.
I also believe business owners should understand their financials, not simply receive reports. I take the time to explain what I’m seeing, answer questions, and provide the context behind the numbers so clients can make more informed decisions.
My goal is to give clients the best of both worlds: high-level accounting discipline with the personal attention of an experienced CPA who understands their business.
Know Exactly Who’s Behind the Work
When you hire Your Elite Bookkeeper, you work directly with me.
I’m the person learning your books, reviewing the details, asking questions, and staying familiar with your financial picture over time. That continuity matters. It allows me to understand the context behind the numbers, recognize inconsistencies more quickly, and reduce the back-and-forth that can happen when work is passed between multiple people.
I keep my practice intentionally personal so clients have one trusted point of contact who understands both their books and their business.
You get the consistency of working with the same person month after month, backed by more than 20 years of accounting experience and the standards I developed working with complex, multimillion-dollar organizations.
